Amalfi coast

From romantic Amalfi to ancient Pompei: "It was in the beginning of month July and at this time the coast was pretty empty and almost without tourists. We stayed a couple of days for sightseeing and to admire Pompeii and Amalfi Coast."
















The Apennine spur stretching between Positano and Salerno gives rise to a very jagged coastline which does not allow for the construction of large towns. Only at the end of certain ravines do the cliffs taper off and form beaches

From Praiano to Pompeii

From Praiano to Pompeii we drove on narrow winding and picturesque road. Along the road we stopped by the native sellers to buy some food and drinks, they had traditional cold granita which is made from ice, lemon and fresh fruits from their own gardens. At the end of Amalfi peninsula lead a wide road to Pompeii. You must be very careful on the road, because the traffic is pretty heavy. Almost everyone from teenagers to old people drive a motorcycle, motorbike or motorino.
