Walking through the streets of Barcelona

Travel to Europe's destination

We visited Barcelona couple of times a week. One of the first monuments that we visited were Gaudi's houses. The Church of Sacred Family was the greatest. The church of Sagrada Famila is the main tourist remarkableness. Before visiting the temple we were preparing (psihological) on a crush.

Casa Batllo is not only a building or one of the Gaudi's masterpieces, it is a legend of art. The striking Modernista facade conceals a whole world of artistic and architectural surprises.
The famous Casa Batllo was built between 1905 and 1907. It is situated in the centric Passeiq de Gracia in Barcelona. The house has its name by Josep Batllo i Casanovas, he was a textile industrial that assigned of the house of Antoni Gaudi.

The Museu Picasso of Barcelona is the centre of information and background for the early years of learning of Pablo Picasso. The history of the Museu Picasso is a tribute to the artist's express desire to leave his mark on Barcelona.

The famous, boulevards of Las Ramblas are a great place to get the real feeling for Barcelona. It's a great place to take a coffee and to watch people passing you buy, but when you realise that most of the people are just tourists like yourselves it kind-of looses its appeal a bit.
